I'm a student at USC, but I'm originally from Tempe, Arizona, and I go back there during the latter half of December, and from mid-May to mid-August.
I have a fairly steady supply of kefir grains to be picked up in person. Bring some milk in a jar (glass is best), and I'll give you as many grains as you want within the limit of what I can spare at the time.

Kefir grains grow fairly slow, so people run out of them easily, and will not respond to you unless they have extra grains to share. Second thing, live Kefir grains are extremely resistant, so shipping them through mail is fine. Kefir grains that I shipped during coldest days of winter, or hottest days of summer still live and are shared by many members of our Kefir community. Mind you, I wasn't even shipping dried ones, but live, real Kefir grains. Thanks, Adnan.
