Some of the people in my area have not left phone numbers or email addresses to contact them. How do I contact them?
Thanks!
Hi Dawn,
In order to suppress spam, you can only submit your request, and they will respond to you. Once you click on the link to view the listing, there is a section called “Request your grains here”. Just submit that form with your email address, and the person will respond to you. Some people are slow with response, so you can try more of them. Also, you can try someone else from a different city. Many people who share kefir grains are willing to ship them.
Good luck,
Adnan
Good morning,
I have been trying to find the contact link on this page on on the kefir people list page - but can’t find the link. Where is it please?
Secondly, the reason I was trying to make contact was to see what information anyone can give me about the use of kefir in goat’s milk to feed our kangaroo joey. Marsupial joeys are unable to digest the lactose in milk, which can cause them health problems, including blindness. We are told to feed them on special, very expensive powdered milk produced for them. As we have our own goats and don’t have the money for special milks (It is ten times the price of milk powder for normal human consumption!), I want to know about the properties kefir has in breaking down/digesting lactose and/or producing lactase, and what experience others have in using kefir in feeding animals that are unable to digest lactose. Can anyone help me on this or know who can?
I will be very grateful for any help and suggestions.
Lori
